I don’t usually read memoirs. I made an exception with Emma Gomez, A Courageous Woman Displays True Grit, and I’m glad I did.
Emma writes simply and clearly of her rise from a modest beginning in Puerto Rico, through a long series of challenges and obstacles, to a life abounding in love, purpose, family, and contentment. Emma takes us from her childhood and high school in Puerto Rico to her subsequent move to New York, where she tackled familial, financial, educational, and vocational giants and vanquished them all.
What makes her story so inspiring is Emma’s constant assurance to her readers — especially to minority women, who may feel powerless — that “if I can do it, you can do it.” Her book is full of practical, replicable advice, and Emma herself displays the positive, confident outlook she encourages each of her readers to adopt.
Emma Gomez has already made a difference in her world, and she can make a difference in every reader’s life.
Emma Gomez, A Courageous Woman Displays True Grit, is available in ebook and paperback from AMAZON.
