Review: CLAIMING THE ENEMY (PULSE SERIES) by Lauren Hawkeye
A strong heroine meets a reluctant, ice-cold hero under unusual circumstances, and neither is prepared for the undeniable, heated, controversial relationship that ensues.
Adults only, please; this narrative is a string of increasingly inventive and explicit, extra-marital sexual encounters. There is occasional profanity as well. Fans of television’s sexy medical dramas will enjoy this novel, which is cut from the same cloth.
The author is more than competent; the plot is straightforward steamy-sex romance with just enough conflict to keep it interesting and leave the end in doubt until the final page.
A galley proof of the book was provided to the reader in exchange for an objective review.
